ANOTHER FAMILY REINTEGRATED!

Yoleida and Darwin were forced to leave Venezuela with their 7 children. They walked more than 250 km on their migration journey to Brazil with young children. Once in Boa Vista, they slept on the streets for a month, where they even received the sad proposal to sell their youngest daughter to get money to eat. In April, amid the pandemic, the family was relocated by Refuge 343 to Belo Horizonte, where they were welcomed by host Lilian Bernardes and a group of friends. 6 months later, they are 100% socioeconomically reintegrated: children studying and adults working, paying all their bills. Another family starting over in Brazil! You can also be part of this humanitarian work with us. Click here and find out how!
