1 GREAT GESTURE
Refúgio 343 was created in response to what is today the greatest migration challenge in recent history. We are a humanitarian organization dedicated to the socioeconomic reintegration of refugees and migrants. We work with the axes of social development and humanitarian aid through the pillars of host e education. Keep reading.
The highlight of our work is planned displacement, a process that drives the journey of reception and the achievement of socioeconomic reintegration of refugees and migrants in their final destinations. We monitor families to ensure that they achieve their fundamental rights.

Education is the most effective path to social transformation. It is the key to many processes of citizenship and personal and professional development. The tools offered at Escola Refúgio are the bridge that brings beneficiaries closer to their ultimate goal: the opportunity for a new beginning.
Update: 06.08.2024
More than 1% of humanity is displaced. There are more than 120 million people who have had to leave their origins behind, a number that has doubled in the last decade. Venezuelans are the third largest displaced population group in the world. More than 7,7 million people have already migrated from the country to escape economic insecurity, hunger, violence, lack of medicines and essential services. This, which is considered the largest humanitarian crisis in Latin America, has a direct impact on Brazil.
