WHO WE ARE

Refugio 343 was born in response to what is now the biggest migratory challenge in recent history. We are a humanitarian organization dedicated to the socioeconomic reintegration of refugees and migrants. We work with social development and humanitarian aid through the pillars of reception and education. Keep reading.

RECEPTION

The highest point of our work is planned relocation, a process that drives the reception journey and the achievement of socioeconomic reintegration of refugees and migrants in their final destinations. We monitor families to ensure they achieve their fundamental rights.

EDUCATION

Education is the most effective path to social transformation. It is the key to various processes of citizenship and development, both personal and professional. The tools offered at Escola Refúgio are the bridge that brings beneficiaries closer to their ultimate goal: the opportunity for a fresh start.

context

More than 1% of humanity is displaced. There are more than 100 million people who have had to leave their origins behind, a number that has doubled in the last decade. Venezuelans are the third largest displaced population group in the world. More than 7.1 million people have already migrated from their country of origin to escape economic insecurity, hunger, violence, lack of medicines and essential services. This, which is considered the biggest humanitarian crisis in Latin America, has a direct impact on Brazil.
